-Â Â Â Â Â Â Having a good subject knowledge of anyone operating system. ( Windows/Unix ) and fair knowledge of other operating system.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Indepth knowledge of Netbackup 5.x and 6.x concepts.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Understanding the daemon flow.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â The challenges of Enterprise Netbackup environment.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Installation and configuration of Master/Media and clients.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Installation and configuration of Database agents.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Customization of RMAN scripts ( Preferred)
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Working with Netbackup GUI
-Â Â Â Â Â Â The Command Line interface.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Netbackup Operations Manager and the reporting tools.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Configuration of Volume Pools, Storage Units, Policies, Tape drives and Robot.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Media management.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Performing catalog backups and restores.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Troubleshooting the backup issues by analyzing the netbackup logs.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Perquisites of upgradation from NBU 5.x to NBU 6.x
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Knowledge of the different types of libraries and the tape drives with the density.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Fair knowledge of scripting ( Shell or PERL)
