Skills

• 1-3 years of QA experience
• 1+ years of automation experience
• Very detail & process oriented.
• Should have worked with Bugzilla before.
• Experience testing websites & web services
• Knowledge about web standards, best practices & SEO is a plus.
• Mobile industry experience is a plus
• Experience testing both Windows and Unix (or Linux) environments preferred
• Experience testing on Web-based high-volume transactional systems strongly preferred
• Experience working in an Agile environment preferred

Job Duties

You will be an individual contributor on the QA team and may supervise other engineers or act in a lead role on certain projects. You will help define and implement our testing approach for our back-end, transactional system. The QA Engineer finds, isolates, and reports defects in our software. Key areas of testing focus include: functionality, performance, integration, and regression. Other duties include reviewing requirements, participating in Scrum meetings, estimating work, and delivering high-quality, on-time results. This position is a mix of black-box and white-box testing.

Functional / Technical skills
• Planning and execution of complex software testing efforts
• Test plan creation, test case creation and execution
• Strong networking, communication and organizational skills
• Able to code in a scripting language such as Perl, Shell Script a plus.
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
• Knowledge of QA methodology in an Agile environment & SCRUM preferred
