Job Description:

Purpose:

To provide day-to-day support for Emerson employees utilizing Oracle E-Business Suite Applications. Specific emphasis will be on Financials and Distribution

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Support Oracle application End user : 70%
The tasks include and not limit to :
• Provide day-to-day functional “how to” support in a Service Desk environment for Oracle Application Systems
• Triage incidents providing timely resolution of application issues as well as problem resolution. This may include the use of SQL queries or other tools.
• Log, support and manage Oracle Technical Assistance Requests (TAR) to drive to closure incidents and problems with application functionality.
• Develop/Maintain Emerson business and associated process knowledge in order to provide installation specific guidance and direction
• Facilitate incident and problem management for non-Oracle Application related problems.
• Lead /assist with testing of application solutions to verify that they address business requirements and that they function correctly.
• Document business requirements for enhancements (reports, interfaces, forms, etc.)
• The incumbent may be required to travel within the region to facilitate implementation projects.

2. Participate and support Oracle implementation projects and enhancement request - 30%
• Provide strong functional knowledge/support of the Oracle EBS applications for Oracle 11i implementation projects
• Conduct business process and fit/gap analysis, Setup the system to meet the desired business process
• Plan, lead and actively participate in design, configuration and testing of Oracle Application
• Troubleshoot and issue resolution with Oracle Applications

Qualifications and Experience:

Must:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related
• Fluent in English
• Min. 3 years related working experience on Oracle applications implementation or support.
• In-depth functional knowledge of two or more of the following Oracle 11i modules: Financials, Manufacturing, Order Management/ Procurement.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred:
• In-depth functional knowledge of other modules
• Previous consulting experiences of implemented or supported multiple Oracle Applications projects.
• Experience / knowledge at Oracle EBS Application from technical side
